Auto creation of new tickets

Does any one know if it is possible to get the system to automatically create new tickets on a scheduled basis?

What I have in mind is this; I would like to create a new ticket every week with the same details, this is so that, for example "Change Back-up tape" would be a job that auto-magically shows on the new list every week, and then we can know if anyone else has changed the tape and when they did it.

Thanks for your help. smile

P.S. I have version 0.70.2 running on Windows at the moment, but am looking to move it to a linux server in the near future.

You can create a cron job sending an email to a mailgate.

Re: Auto creation of new tickets

So, if I understand correctly, it's not possible in GLPI at the moment and the cron job is an external process to GLPI that creates and email and sends it to the GLPI email address, thus creating a new ticket.

Thanks for your help MoYo, I will try this. smile
