Assign computer in helpdesk.

I am testing GLPI, and so far it fulfills all my needs!..

I am now testing the email ticket submission. I have a testing ticket imported successfully, but I cannot find how to assign this ticket to a particular computer.

Any advice, please??

Cheers,  Andy E.

Re: Assign computer in helpdesk.

Replying to myself here! GLPI has imported some more computers from OCSNG. These computers appear in a drop down box now. These computers are assigned Entity 'Root Entity'. If I mark other computers as 'Root Entity', they also appear in this drop down list. How do I get all my other computers assigned to other Entities to show in this drop down list?

Cheers,  Andy E.

entities are closed items. You can only add computer of teh same entity to a ticket.

Re: Assign computer in helpdesk.

You should spécify it in rules importation

Re: Assign computer in helpdesk.

Thanks for your help. I think I realised it was going to be that, so I solved it by moving ev erything back into the Root Entity.

You can close this one now smile
